We were looking a while back on makeup tips for brides and bridal parties. Camille is always crazy busy with bridal makeup at this time of year – and we wondered, from a photographers perspective how important is makeup for the overall look of the bride? Who better to ask than Angela Hubbard – seriously one of the most amazing photographers in Vancouver. She did my wedding – so I might be slightly biased, but her shots are always breathtaking, and she makes her brides look amazing!
So what did she have to say?
From a photographers point of view makeup is essential to smooth out skin tones and enhance features. It can make the difference between a good photoshoot to an AMAZING photoshoot. I always encourage all my brides to have do their engagement photoshoot when they do their hair/makeup trial as it makes my bride feel that much prettier and when one feels that much prettier, the inner confidence that others see in them, they magically can see in themselves.
